As a healthcare professional, I am very concerned about the new Administration cutting medicare, medicaid, or veterans benefits. These are some of the most reliable health support systems that we have in this country.
As a healthcare professional I also know that the privatized Medicare programs are generally only a bargain when you're healthy. I have found that they do not live up to their statements that they will pay for any health care professional, nor do they help in Rehabilitation programs.
In addition, I have heard that the new Administration also wants to stop the programs that save money by allowing Medicare and Medicaid to offer cheaper prescriptions. This would be a good program! And ending it will cost the government a lot of money.
As a private citizen who benefits from medicare, and a healthcare professional, I implore you to expand Medicare and Medicaid rather than cut back on it.
