Só i write as a veteran concerned about the degradation of monuments and sacred places for those who gave their lives for this country. The current president now wants to build some kind of arch at the entrance to the national cemetery at Arlington. This is unacceptable and even you who approve of 99.9% of what he wants ought to be able to see the disrespect in this. A draft dodger and worse wants a monument to himself, you know that’s true, overlooking those he considers suckers and losers. My heart already breaks for what’s happening to the country. If you allow this to go forward by funding it in any way you become a coward and traitor to your country. There just is no polite way to say this especially for those who so far have allowed the destruction of all that was good about this country. Hope somewhere you can find the backbone you seem to have lost, for once
