First, I’m calling to ask the Senator to take action on the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program. The HHS is canceling existing, evidence-based TPP grants and redirecting that funding to new programs Congress did not authorize. Terminating these grants midstream wastes taxpayer dollars, disrupts services, and harms young people who rely on these programs. I urge the Senator to demand that HHS follow the law, restore the canceled funding, and ensure these dollars are used as Congress intended.
Also, please ask the Senator to support S. 4602 the “Abolish Super PACs Act,” which would place a limit on contributions to Super PACs, effectively ending them. As your constituent, I am sick and tired of the ultra-wealthy trying to buy elections and collecting favors from politicians. I urge you to work to get big money out of politics once and for all!
Finally, please oppose the Save America Act. It’s a danger to our democracy; we don’t want it.
Thanks.
