Demand State Department release funds for malnourished children

I’m writing about an urgent humanitarian issue.
Right now, over 185,000 cases of Plumpy’Nut — a ready‑to‑use therapeutic food that treats severe acute malnutrition in children — are sitting in a warehouse in Rhode Island. These were already purchased with taxpayer dollars but have been stuck in a warehouse due to the dismantling of USAID, and cannot be shipped because the State Department has not released the funds.
I’m asking you to do three things:
1️⃣ Demand that the State Department sign the paperwork and release the funds.
2️⃣ Publicly make a statement calling for this action.
3️⃣ Join Congressman Seth Magaziner in urging the administration to restore this life‑saving food aid.
This is a matter of life and death for severely malnourished children.
Thank you for your time.
