Given Governor Newsom’s casual scapegoating of trans athletes and trans people in general for fleeting podcast fame, I would appreciate hearing others in the California government either condemning his remarks and/or reiterating their own support for their trans constituents and their allies. It’s no longer good enough to let people assume you’re on the right side of history; please speak up in support of trans folks and LGBTQIA+ constituents in general.
