Cannabis sales - missed opportunity. Sales are legal but cities are blocking sales with moratoriums. Meanwhile in Illinois: The numbers are clear. The State of Illinois hit $2 billion in record-setting cannabis sales, generating more than $490 million in tax revenue. Five years after we legalized adult-use cannabis, we’re seeing the economic impact of a thriving cannabis industry. We need to capitalize cannabis, not blocking it.
