Proposed federal budget fails America’s youth

Not actually Columbus…

I am a public school kindergarten teacher, and I am not distracted by the FBI investigations, the president’s multiple faux pas, or even the violence in Portland and Manchester.

The proposed federal budget strips needed funds from education and that is unacceptable. Americas’s public school children, teachers, and parents deserve a fully funded and supported system. The only thing failing our schools and students is the economy. Poverty is a better indicator of student success or failure than the school the child attends. Do not allow Betsy DeVos and the current proposed education budget to fail our children.
