Not actually Columbus…

I am writing to express my deep concern over President Donald Trump firing FBI Director James Comey while Comey was investigating Trump. The reasons listed as evidence existed well before this event, so it is fairly transparent to the American people that this was a move to keep power.

This situation troubles me as a voter, as should it trouble all elected representatives of the people, in that it sets the tone that anyone opposing Trump will be taken care of.

This is not democracy — this is tyranny. Please, everyone, do all you can to stand up to the power struggles clearly at play. It isn’t right that anyone, especially the president of the United States, be above the law.
