Investigate the Starshield Slowdown That Left Ukraine Exposed

I’m writing to urge you to hold hearings and investigate the White House's role in restricting Ukraine's access to the Starshield military satellite network. Reuters cited two US officials and a Western official confirming the order came from inside the White House. On Tuesday night, Starlink capped speeds at 100mph, cutting connectivity to any weapons traveling faster. Ukraine was hit by several deadly strikes that same night, and 600,000 people lost power as Russian attacks struck civilian infrastructure. Trump himself denied involvement and said he was "not sure" the restriction "ever came down." Musk pointed to the Pentagon. Nobody is claiming responsibility, and Ukraine is paying the price. A bipartisan group of senators has already demanded an investigation, citing how the restrictions "degraded Ukraine's ability to conduct defensive operations against Russian drone and missile attacks on civilian infrastructure." That investigation must happen. The American people need to know who gave that order and why, because if anyone in Trump’s government, or Trump himself, is responsible, it’s a betrayal of our allies.
