Senator Collins, find a moral compass & stop Trump rogue spending

There is much talk of the feckless way you have used your opportunities as appropriations chair: not holding meetings for months on end, failing to use your subpoena and investigatory powers to put the brakes on the illegal activities of DOGE and Trump's usurpation of congressional appropriations power. Now the consequences of your vote for Kavanaugh are planning to see. They have resulted in deaths. Yes, Dodds with its restrictions on access to abortion care and Kavanaugh stops with the ICE murders of people who look brown in their vehicles. You voted to give $70 billion to ice claiming that they need this for their future certainty. At the same time you did not want to help Americans get healthcare subsidies or Medicare and Medicaid because you said it cost too much. Hmmm. Immigration enforcement worked fine before Trump. And now? Now a man has been executed in Biddeford, dragged out of his car and left to die on the street in front of his tiny daughter. Mainers treat the deer they shoot better than this ice agent did when he committed an extra judicial execution on someone whom he did not even have a warrant for. And all you talk about is body cameras? Not the precious lost life of the man who was killed? Not how wrong this whole system of ICE gone rogue operating outside the law has become? It is clear that your partisanship for Trump --who you once repudiated --has destroyed your moral compass. You have betrayed your oath to the constitution and resiled from all the rules of basic human decency. I ask you now in the last few months before you are replaced by a better senator to use all the powers available to you as appropriation chair to put the brakes on this rogue regime of murder, extra judicial killings, unjustified d expenditures on a dictators vanity projects and pullulating and lies.
