PA Schools re-opening plans

As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise across our state and nation, I urge you to take extreme caution when working with the PA Dept of Education on re-opening plans for schools. We need to protect not only our children and their vulnerable family members, but also the teachers, staff, bus drivers, etc. We all united this past spring and stayed home to flatten the curve. We need to continue to work together to not overwhelm our hospitals or lose more members of our communities. Sending all kids back to school full time is a plan for disaster and deaths. Parents need hybrid and cyber options and consideration for funding to help with childcare and tutoring expenses.
