I wrote to you in December and January and got the following response yesterday. Your words include, “On January 3, 2026, the United States military conducted Operation Absolute Resolve, an interagency operation that resulted in the successful arrest of dictator Nicolás Maduro, a longtime narco-terrorist who profited off drug trafficking and criminal activity that poisoned and killed Americans.” So – please explain WHY – if we are taking narco-terrorist off the streets, then WHY, in December 2025, the President pardoned former president of Honduras Juan Orlando. He was serving a ~45 year prison sentence for drug trafficking. Please explain why this criminal was pardoned just prior to the arrest of Maduro? Orlando moved hundreds of tons of drugs into this country KILLING children yet he was released. Hypocrisy on display – or tell me what this is called. Second question, why were small boat strikes used to KILL suspected drug traffickers yet a much larger trafficker, Maduro, was captured. Why not just kill him too?
