I am asking you to resist and vote no on Trump’s “one big beautiful bill,” on the grounds that it doesn’t represent the interests or concerns of half of Americans, and that it aims to actively harm Americans and our protected lands. Among the many horrific things included in this bill (it slashes Medicaid, diverts funding from public schools, blocks access to Planned Parenthood, and triples the budget for ICE), in “Sec. 2 Public Lands,” the bill auctions off public lands to private buyers and mandates new lease sales for oil and gas drilling, coal mining, and timber production.  What are we even doing if we don’t stand up for our humans at their youngest, oldest, sickest, and most vulnerable? What do we even stand for if we “love America” but only for what we can pillage from her? Please vote this bill DOWN.
