Remove Section 70302 and Section 43201(c) from the budget bill

To: Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A constituent in State College, PA

June 2

I hope there will be several changes made to the President's budget bill by the Senate before the bill is passed and sent back to the House. I have already expressed my dismay concerning severe cuts to Medicaid. In this message, I want to ask you to make sure that Section 70302 and Section 43201(c) are removed from the bill. Have you seen this letter sent to Speaker Johnson by 21 Members of Congress on May 20, 2025? Sadly, it was disregarded by Speaker Johnson.  https://friedman.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/friedman.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/friedman-letter-opposing-reconciliation-changes-to-court-contempt-powers-21-moc.pdf    And here is the information I have read concerning Section 43201(c): https://www.santacruzworks.org/news/trumps-big-beautiful-bill-is-a-decade-long-license-for-ai-disinformation. I'm counting on you to see to it that these two provisions are removed from the bill.  THANK YOU for serving as my Senator and attempting to do what is right for your constituents and our country.
