Not a day passes without another announcement of unscrupulous decisions out of the Trump administration, nearly always to take actions that are openly unlawful, and with no meaningful response from Congress or the Judiciary:
>The execution of a mass murderer in a wheel chair is to be public via live streaming. All the reasons that is a fundamentally and strategically stupid idea should, hopefully, not need listing.
>Trump, who started his Iran war, and Putin with his Ukraine war, have agreed that Russia will provide the U.S. with an inconsequential amount of diesel. Now, of course, for this to even seem a rational act on Trump’s part one must ignore that US sanctions on Russian oil exports are the reason Russian diesel is not coming to the U.S., which requires one to overlook the reason for those sanctions, and then ignore that the current global oil shortages were actually precipitated by Trump’s war against Iran.
>Not to be outdone by the inanity of his own actions, Trump sanctioned the International Criminal Court because one of their judges was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and he was not. Again, it hopefully is not necessary to list all the reasons the Trump response to someone other than him winning the Peace Prize is utterly indefensible.
>Trump now is not just continuing his abandonment of US principles, commitments, alliances and laws, he is actively deserting and dismantling them. That these actions result in thousands of unnecessary deaths and incalculable losses in the U.S. and around the world causes him not a whit of concern.
So, Members of Congress, where are you? The reputation of the U.S. has suffered immeasurable degradation, which, sadly, we deserve, being the most powerful nation on Earth, but unable to rein in a self-serving, stunningly uninformed, egomaniacal President on a continuous rampage to enrich and please himself.
