I am writing to you today to strongly express my support for marriage equality and to urge you to vote yes on HB1800 when it comes time. Marriage is a foundational institution that brings stability, dignity, and happiness to both individuals and their families. It is a profound commitment between two people, and it is crucial that this commitment is recognized equally under the law, regardless of the gender of the partners involved.  Supporting marriage equality is a matter of fairness, justice, and the recognition of fundamental human rights. It aligns with the principle that all people deserve equal dignity under the law. Allowing all citizens to marry the person they love strengthens the fabric of our entire communities, rather than weakening it.
