Reports indicate that OpenAI has hired Chuck Schumer’s daughter as a lobbyist. This is unacceptable. Leader Schumer needs to cut ties and reduce apparent conflicts of interest like this now. It is one more sign that he doesn’t understand the moment and needs to step aside as leader and let others take the reins. WA’s senators need to communicate this forcefully to him.
