Trump found a general for his Chairman of the Joint Chiefs who specializes in the ways air power has improved and believes it's his job to execute whatever the president determines his policy to be. Unfortunately, Trump's stated goals will require boots on the ground OR negotiating a deal. Wars end when the leaders of both parties sit together in person. Trump never sat down with Iran's leaders, but he frequently sat down with Netanyahu, who has been trying to get the US to attack Iran his entire career. That's how long Iranians have been preparing for this war. You must use your constitutional authority to get Trump to sit down with Iranians to stop oil prices climbing toward $200 a barrel.
