Cuts to Social Security staffing will exacerbate the delay in obtaining benefits as people retire. I experienced delay when I retired in 2020. I called and called but response was very slow. I finally wrote to my Arkansas Congress reps re the problem. That worked, but I shouldn't have had to do this. I imagine Congressmen will spend much more time with these bureaucratic tasks. Please stand up to the President and go to bat for Arkansas who need their earned benefits to survive! Congress
