H.R. 1 authorizes the sale of public lands. That is unacceptable. These lands belong to the people—not to corporations, not to political donors, and not to be auctioned off to balance bad budgets. Once sold, they’re gone forever—no second chances. This is a theft of national resources disguised as fiscal policy. There is no justification for it. Vote NO on H.R. 1. Keep public lands in public hands.
