I am urgently calling on you, as my representatives in Congress, to take immediate and decisive steps to prevent any attempt by the executive branch to pursue invasion, coercion, intimidation, or any other form of pressure against Greenland.
This includes blocking the use of federal funds for any military or paramilitary planning, prohibiting the deployment of personnel or assets intended to threaten or destabilize the region, and passing binding legislation that bars the executive from engaging in territorial acquisition or coercive diplomacy without explicit congressional authorization.
Congress should launch rapid oversight investigations to expose and halt any efforts to undermine Greenland’s autonomy or manipulate its internal affairs, and it should condition or freeze defense appropriations to ensure full compliance.
Congress must act swiftly and forcefully to place real, enforceable obstacles in the path of any aggressive or imperialistic initiative.
