I am writing today to urge congressional intervention in the DOD. Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump are now claiming they’re finished in Iran (doubtful), and that on the way home, they’re going to have a military staffed air carrier “swing by” Cuba and “take” it. While it was not clearly delineated in either of their recent statements, we can only assume based on prior acts that this is intended to be a hostile military takeover. Trump does NOT have the right to declare and enforce these actions on his own. We already know from Venezuelan and Iranian invasions that he thinks he does. And we already know based on YOUR inaction, that you seem to think he does, as well. WE THE PEOPLE understand the United States AND international laws better than those who were elected to be our representatives. The fact of the matter is, you cannot do anything about your failings and shortcomings of the past. What you CAN do is WAKE UP and hit the ground running. Impeach Trump. End the war(s). Restore dignity and credibility to the United States!
