The sheer scope of authority Musk has been granted, including cutting nearly $1 billion from the Department of Education and gaining access to sensitive financial and government systems, is an unprecedented and dangerous overreach that demands immediate congressional action. Musk is a private billionaire with extensive conflicts of interest in industries regulated by the very government he is now overseeing. His ability to wield executive power with no Senate confirmation, no oversight, and no accountability is blatantly unconstitutional. His past actions—violating environmental regulations, retaliating against workers, and manipulating government contracts for personal gain—make him uniquely unfit for this role. I am calling on you to act immediately to rein in this dangerous power grab by: 1. Launching a congressional investigation into DOGE’s authority, decision-making, and Musk’s conflicts of interest. 2. Demanding full transparency on all federal systems and funds Musk and DOGE have accessed. 3. Passing legislation to limit the executive branch’s ability to create unchecked, unelected agencies with sweeping powers. 4. Holding public hearings to expose the risks DOGE poses to American governance, data security, and the economy. 5. Blocking any further funding that would allow DOGE to continue dismantling government agencies unchecked. This is not about efficiency. It is about a billionaire consolidating power, unchecked, over the very government meant to serve the people. If Congress does nothing, you are complicit in allowing a private citizen to run our country like his personal tech empire. I demand to know what you are doing to stop this blatant authoritarian overreach. The American people are watching, and we will remember who stood up to this corrupt corporate takeover of our government—and who didn’t.
