I am very concerned about the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that narrowly passed Congress. Among massive cuts to Medicaid, this bill also (I’ve come to learn) will put a 10 year moratorium on AI regulation and I fear that it will spread the already increasing misinformation, has the potential to harm our children and elderly (let’s be honest, we couldn’t forsee how social media has harmed our kids, but AI will certainly exacerbate the problem), and give scam artists and pedophiles opportunities to exploit the American people out of their sovereignty and their money. I’m proud that my state has Democratic leaders and I would ask that you vote NO on this bill.
