You must defund and abolish ICE. Even if you have to shut the country down to do so. Every single person whose rights have been violated and are imprisoned must be set free. Conditions are so bad in the concentration camps that I’m expecting to learn there have already been more deaths than they have admitted to. I’m expecting even more people will die in the upcoming winter storm. (We all know how the Texas power gird stops working in extreme weather and there will likely be power outages in other places where kidnapped victims are being held.) If the only way to accomplish shutting ICE down is to shut down the country, SHUT. IT. DOWN. Why are you allowing racist bullies to abuse people and trample the Constitution? Fuck that. It’s way past time stop this. Don’t normalize and appease fascists. It doesn’t work. It just makes them bolder and more uncontrollable. Do everything in your power. Then remember John Lewis and so something more.
