While it is probably wasted effort on my part, I am writing to implore that you restore temporary protected status to the Haitian immigrants living in Ohio. At least 20% of Springfield’s population escaped deplorable conditions in Haiti and came to Ohio for a better life—the American dream. Please don’t crush their dreams. Help them immediately.
