Constituent demand: Congress must act to prevent escalation with Iran.

To: Rep. Dean, Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A verified voter in Conshohocken, PA

April 7

I am writing as a deeply alarmed constituent. The President’s recent public threats regarding Iran are reckless, inflammatory, and terrifying. At a moment of enormous danger, Congress cannot remain passive. Please publicly affirm that any further military escalation with Iran must be subject to congressional authority, and do everything in your power to press for immediate de-escalation, civilian protection, and compliance with U.S. and international law. I want to know where you stand, what action you are taking, and whether you will speak out now.
