HF 2530 is coming to the floor tomorrow today. This bill is going to make Iowa’s water more dangerous. It’s and makes it where we can’t list any of our impaired waters on the impaired water list, we can’t give people public health warnings if there’s infections in the lakes that we’re swimming in and makes illness/death from tainted water inevitable. We absolutely should not turn down hundreds of millions of dollars of taxpayer money coming from the federal government to clean our waters right when we need it the most.
