It’s time that you protect reproductive healthcare for all New Yorkers. You must take action NOW and sign bills A.10356/S.9269; A.1670/S.2667; and A.9217/S.8544. It’s time New York protects access to abortions and reproductive health in more than just words. The Anti-Shackling Bill will make sure that incarcerated people get the dignity they deserve during and after a pregnancy. Everyone deserves access to care. Protecting access to medication abortion is more important now than ever. The federal government is trying to shut down access. We, in a so called access state, need to make sure that access never goes away. You just sign this legislation now, no delay for photo ops. Protect healthcare and provide people with the dignity they deserve.
