Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas.
With my daily goal of giving your presidential candidate the focus and attention he strives for daily, I’m happy to oblige.
Today’s offerings…
From a Friday PA rally: “You know, I do the weave. You know what the weave is? I’ll talk about like nine different things, and they all come back brilliantly together and it’s like, and friends of mine that are, like, English professors, they say, ‘It’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever seen.’ But the fake news, you know what they say? ‘He rambled.’”
Way to prove a point. And I’d like the names of his friends the English professors please.
On Fox News Sunday: Re Kamala Harris and a moment from the 2020 VP debate when Pence interrupted her…”Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking,” she said. “I’m speaking.”
“She said you’re interrupting me! I wanna talk!” Trump said. She’s a nasty person. The way she treated Mike Pence was horrible.”
Okay. A woman standing up to being interrupted is viscous, rude, nasty and horrible. But a president aiming a mob at his V-P as they chant “Hang Mike Pence” is ‘meh.’
He tried to get Pence killed. That’s hard to top.
And lastly, again from Fox Sunday: “It's so crazy that my poll numbers go up. Whoever heard you get indicted for interfering with a presidential election WHERE YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO DO IT,” [caps mine] Trump told host Mark Levin. "You get indicted and your poll numbers go up."
That’s what you call a confession.
Or maybe he’s just ‘weaving.’
That’s all the fun for today. Stay tuned. Much more to come.
