How can you vote to defund public radio and PBS? They offer educational and informational programming. When my children were little, we couldn’t afford a lot of extras. But they enjoyed the educational programs on PBS such as Super Why and Sid the Science Kid. These programs are not political. They are not trying to indoctrinate our children. They are entertaining and teaching. They learned letters, math and science concepts. Now my youngest is studying to become an engineer and I know some of her math and science interest grew from programming on PBS. Do not defund them. The public deserve to have programming available to keep them informed at no cost. People should not have to pay to be able to learn about what is going on in the world around them.
