NO to a memorial arch for Trump near Memorial Bridge! That would be blasphemous and an insult to all the military buried in Arlington Cemetery. When I lived in Arlington I preferred that bridge to Key Bridge (“the car strangled spanner”). Trump wants to be remembered - he will be in thousands of history books all around the world as the most vain, incompetent, cruel and corrupt person to ever have occupied the White House. The Republican Party will be remembered as the most corrupt and cowardly political party in history. We don’t need or want a symbol of all that to remind us, it is seared into our collective memories. Do everything you can to prevent this from happening. If it does, I would be honored to place the first stick of dynamite to bring it down.
