Write Shut down Alligator Alcatraz Most people there are not criminals. They are hardworking people just trying to make a better life for their families. The conditions are inhumane and unsanitary. Everyone deserves dignity respect and due process. These are not American rights or citizens rights; these are human rights. Please look into your hearts, and treat these suffering people like fellow humans. Shut it down, return them to dignified conditions, and give each and every person due process. That’s who we are as Americans, and as decent human beings Shut it down.
