It is unacceptable for American troops, resources, and lives to be committed without transparent debate and explicit authorization from Congress, as required by our Constitution. I urge you to demand immediate accountability from the administration, insist on full transparency about any current or planned U.S. involvement, and do everything in your power to prevent an unnecessary war. Please use your authority to hold hearings, promote urgent diplomatic efforts, and push for a de-escalation strategy that prioritizes peace and regional stability over reckless military escalation. I am counting on you to protect American interests, lives, and values by standing firmly against an unauthorized conflict with Iran.
