I have never been more appalled by the lack of spines than I have been TODAY at both of your notes in the affirmative to kick millions off of healthcare in order to give the 1% a tax break. In the future, when my children ask me who could have stopped the gutting of our democracy and the low and middle income families that will undoubtedly impact their friends and classmates ability to pursue Life, Liberty and Happiness over their lifetimes, I'll spit your names out of my mouth. This wasn't a procedural vote - it was a moral one. You had an opportunity to be on the right side history and you failed. I want you to know that I am paying attention, as are millions of other people around the nation. We're tired of elected officials choosing politics over people. I urge you to reconsider your stance in future related legislation and begin to demonstrate leadership that honors the principles of equity, accountability and fair representation.
