As a concerned citizen, I urge you to vote in favor of common-sense reforms for corporate insurance and their middlemen PBMs. Please act now and take action to pass S. 2973 and S. 3430 to stop PBMs from profiting at the expense of underserved seniors. PBMs are the corporate middlemen that exploit vulnerable communities, racking up record profits for themselves and health insurers while increasing costs for those who need their medications most. The result: health care in some of our most underserved communities isn’t equitable and accessible. Passing these bills represents impactful reforms that benefit vulnerable seniors. Enact S. 2973 and S. 3430 to prevent PBMs from ripping off seniors and to make progress in achieving health equity for millions. The time to act is now.
