I am writing to express my deep alarm regarding the actions of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Since assuming office, Secretary Kennedy has taken unprecedented steps to undermine public health, most notably by dismissing a panel of qualified scientific experts and promoting dangerous conspiracy theories under the guise of health policy.
These actions not only disregard scientific consensus, but actively endanger the well-being of the American people. A public health leader should rely on evidence-based research, expert guidance, and a commitment to the common good. Secretary Kennedy’s behavior is the opposite—reckless, ideologically driven, and detrimental to the trust we place in public institutions.
This is a clear dereliction of duty and a failure to uphold the oath of office. I urge you to take immediate action to investigate Secretary Kennedy’s conduct and, if appropriate, begin proceedings for his impeachment. Our nation’s health cannot be subject to misinformation and personal agendas.
We need leaders who protect science, respect expertise, and act in the best interest of all Americans. I ask you to defend those values and hold Secretary Kennedy accountable.
