I won't mince words: I am deeply concerned that if our federal representatives continue to neglect doing anything meaningful regarding illicit ICE activity happening in this country, things are going to continue progressing down an increasingly violent and destructive path for the American people. Multiple civilians are being illegally detained or outright killed, and our elected officials are seemingly not doing anything to hold the officials involved accountable. The American people see this, and the anger is only increasing. We've now had a second death at the hands of ICE that was highly evidenced to be a murder, and we the people need to see evidence of accountability being levied towards those responsible. If we don't, I fear what is coming next. History has shown us what happens when we wait until it is far too late. I implore you not to let such horrors come to pass in America. We elected you to help this country prosper, not to sit idly by while innocent people are traumatized, captured, and even murdered in federally sanctioned violence. Don't make the citizens take this on alone, lest the situation have the chance to even further increase in tension and extremity. Figure it out while you still have the chance. Otherwise, history tells us that you won't have the chance for much longer. I can only hope now that you care enough to heed those lessons and meaningfully act upon them before it's too late for us all.
