As a constituent, I am writing to strongly demand that you ensure President Trump and every individual named in the Jeffrey Epstein documents faces a full, independent investigation. Trump's guilt in this matter must be thoroughly examined, and his administration cannot be allowed to bury evidence or shield the powerful from accountability. Trump's recent call for Americans to "move on" from the Epstein scandal is a transparent attempt to obstruct justice. The latest document releases implicate multiple current administration officials, including Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and advisor Elon Musk. Trump himself has extensive documented connections to Epstein spanning decades. His dismissal of this as "a Democrat problem" is both factually false and morally reprehensible when victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking are still seeking justice. The Trump administration's Department of Justice cannot be trusted to investigate the president and his own officials. This requires congressional action with real teeth. Former President Bill Clinton and Former Secretary Hillary Clinton will testify before Congress later this month, which demonstrates that oversight is possible. Trump and every member of his administration named in these files must face identical scrutiny under oath. Former British ambassador Peter Mandelson resigned from UK parliament when implicated in these documents. American officials, including the president, should be held to the same standard. The victims of Epstein's crimes have waited years for answers while powerful men protected each other. Trump's attempt to shut down this investigation before it truly begins is an admission that he fears what a thorough examination would reveal. Documents also revealed communications between Epstein and William J. Burns, who later became CIA director under Biden, proving this investigation must be truly nonpartisan and comprehensive. I am asking you to publicly call for a special commission with subpoena power to investigate Trump and all individuals implicated in the Epstein documents. You should also support legislation that removes this investigation from DOJ control. The president is not above the law, and victims deserve justice, not a cover-up orchestrated by the White House.
