An Open Letter

To: Rep. Carter, Sen. Kennedy, Sen. Cassidy

From: A verified voter in New Orleans, LA

January 8

It finally happened and a us citizen was murdered by ICE agents. Despite how the MAGAsphere is attempting to spin the events of today, there is an absolute massive amount, a video evidence to the contrary. It could happen here, it could easily happen in Louisiana. What would you say or do if that was the case here? It’s been clear to me for a long time, clear to me, and anyone else would have a brain that the United States government has lost its way. It didn’t start with Trump, but Trump is going to end the United States, he has effectively ended it as far as I’m concerned. We have not had a functional democracy in decades, but now any sense of reasonable decorum has been shot in the face. I have long despised you for being complicit in this autocratic fascist takeover. As my representatives I find your “leadership“ completely feckless. You do nothing to aid any part of your constituency, you do this by neglect in ignorance. Where you should be appalled and disgusted, I find you to instead be complicit and helpful to modern day robber barons. Our government is run by sycophants, racists, foreign agents, and a wealthy elite hell-bent on siphoning off every bit , every drop that they can. America is not these few wealthy men, America is millions of people like myself, and like that poor mother who was murdered in cold blood by cowards in disguise. This is your political legacy. Her murder is your fault because you’ve allowed this festering trash heap of scum to slither unabated. America deserves the Civil War that is coming, I can only hope that it finds the doorsteps of those who’ve allowed this farce of governance to continue.
