As a concerned citizen, I urge you to reject the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. His lack of qualifications and promotion of unsubstantiated and dangerous views on vaccines, fluoridation, and other public health measures pose a grave risk to the nation's well-being. Over 75 Nobel laureates, including esteemed scientists in fields like chemistry, medicine, and physics, have signed a letter warning that Kennedy's confirmation would jeopardize public health and undermine America's global leadership in health sciences. His controversial stances, such as vaccine skepticism and opposition to fluoridation of drinking water, directly contradict established scientific consensus and could lead to disastrous consequences if implemented as policies. Kennedy's endorsement of unproven and potentially harmful treatments like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19, as well as his ties to a measles outbreak in Samoa, further demonstrate his disregard for scientific evidence and public health expertise. His views on restricting access to weight-loss medications and promoting unregulated raw milk consumption are also deeply concerning. Public health is too crucial to be entrusted to someone who rejects scientific consensus and prioritizes personal beliefs over proven facts. Confirming Kennedy would undermine the integrity of our healthcare system and endanger the well-being of all Americans. I implore you to prioritize the nation's health and reject this nomination.
