I express grave concern over the Trump administration's brazen defiance of constitutional law and the separation of powers. By blocking congressionally appropriated funds, ignoring court orders, and claiming authority to disregard judicial rulings, this administration has launched an assault on our democratic system of checks and balances. As a co-equal branch, Congress must take immediate action. Subpoena Elon Musk and DOGE to investigate their unlawful intrusions into government IT systems and theft of private data. Publicly condemn the administration's open contempt for federal court orders and demand rigorous oversight hearings. Moreover, support articles of impeachment and move to convict President Trump for his repeated, willful violations of constitutional law. This constitutional crisis represents an existential threat to the rule of law and our republican form of government. Failure to act decisively will be an abdication of Congress's solemn duty to preserve our democracy against authoritarian overreach. The stakes could not be higher - the survival of our constitution hangs in the balance. I urge you to courageously meet this historic moment and decisively defend our founding principles.
