The President’s recent claims—that former President Biden was replaced by clones—are not only baseless but deeply troubling signs of cognitive decline. When the leader of our nation spreads such wild conspiracy theories, it jeopardizes our country’s stability and trust in government. This kind of behavior from the highest office fuels confusion, division, and threatens the foundations of our democracy. It puts our national security and public trust at risk. Congress must urgently act to address the dangers posed by this decline and the spread of harmful misinformation coming from the President.
