The recent attack on Senator Padilla and the insertion of the National Guard in California ignoring state sovereignty are signs of an authoritarian state. The letters you write back to me are also signs of your feeling above the law. Your choice to put up legislation that will strip us of land, money and rights shows your hand and intentions. Tomorrow a man will celebrate his birthday by wasting our had earned money for his military parade. Meanwhile his economic policies and yours, wreak havoc on the world markets. All the power you think you wield and honestly you all look foolish and weak. You're embarrassing our country and pushing us to limits we don't deserve. The people you are harming are the actual economic engine. I'm guessing some of you didn't read the bill in the house like MTG but passing it will gut our democracy. America will not forget if you pass it. The retiree's, the disabled, workers, etc will feel your greed. Your choice to give the wealthy a break while your workers struggle. That kind of legacy will follow you and will not be forgotten
