I am writing to urge you to publicly demand the immediate resignation of Stephen Miller from his position as deputy chief of staff for policy. Miller's extremist anti-immigrant and imperialist policies pose a direct threat to our nation's values, international standing, and the civil liberties of your constituents. Since the first Trump administration, Miller has been the architect of some of the most harmful immigration policies in recent American history. He designed the family separation policy that tore children from their parents at the border, canceled the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program that protected young people brought to this country as children, and orchestrated escalated ICE detention and deportation campaigns. He has actively advocated for eliminating due process rights for undocumented people and spread misinformation about immigrants and US citizens affected by ICE actions. Miller's influence extends beyond immigration into dangerous foreign policy territory. He has led extrajudicial drone strikes on Venezuelan boats and called for military force to seize Greenland. These imperialist approaches erode international peace and stability while damaging America's credibility on the world stage. The recent high-profile killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti have brought renewed attention to the consequences of Miller's policies. While Miller is neither an elected official nor an agency head, he wields enormous influence over this administration's direction. His white supremacist views and extremist ideology have no place in government service. I am asking you to take a clear public stance by calling for Miller's immediate resignation. Your constituents deserve leadership that protects civil liberties, upholds due process, and promotes policies rooted in human dignity rather than extremism. Will you stand up and demand accountability?
