The recent airstrikes against targets in international waters, incursions into Venezuela, and the arrest of their president and First Lady is a massive overstepping of presidential authority. Doubtless, there are crimes to answer for, but there are far larger issues to deal with…healthcare for one. It’s time to slap the executive branch on the wrist and reign in this president’s frequent authoritarian oversteps, lest we find ourselves enmeshed in the same nonsensical battles of the Regan administration.
