Have you considered how much expertise is being lost from the US government? This is a brain drain. The lack of a pandemic plan cost a million US lives during Trump’s last reign. McCarthy’s purge cost us foreign expertise and lead to the Korean and Vietnam wars. I suspect this purge will backfire on the president.
