What would Jesus do?
To: V.P. Vance

Realize now that implementing Project 2025, strips all Americans of our freedoms including religious freedom that you and your MAGA members, have said you hold higher than your Party. Please remember that some of us have lived our entire lives as Christians and don’t agree with sexual assault, or leaders who are willing to sacrifice the least of us, for the benefit of the richest among us. Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple using a whip made of cords, while MAGA Republicans support the fleecing of America by increasing the tax burden on the bottom majority of poor Americans. Do you remember what was said in the Bible regarding the rich? Let me remind you again, 1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. Secondly, the man's riches were clearly more important to him than turning to Christ for remission of sins, or he would have done what Christ commanded. When Christ called the apostles, they each dropped everything and followed Him. Christ demands first priority over all else: Matthew 19:24 reads: And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. You have gone from a poor person who claims to have learned from that, to a rich person who along with others in the Trump/Musk Administration, have forgotten that we are to help the poorest people among us? “Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me” is a quote from the Bible, Matthew 25:40. It appears in the King James Version of the Bible. Jesus is calling his followers to show compassion and kindness to those in need. He is emphasizing that actions taken toward the needy are actions taken toward himself. This verse is a challenging exhortation for Christians to model concern for the weak and vulnerable. Stop giving more tax cuts to the rich and taking vital services like Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security benefits. If you start cutting Disability Benefits, Veteran’s Health Benefits and Food assistance programs just to enrich the wealthiest Americans, you are in direct opposition of Jesus. Please consider reaffirming to the practice of following the teachings of Jesus Christ over the greed of Elon Musk and Peter Theil. Praying for you to receive these words from a true Christian and a true American.
