President Trump has stated “America’s economy is the hottest on the planet.” Ok, then why is he recommending a freeze on federal civilians pay raises? This is about as cogent a pair of states as that time he went on national television and told the entire globe that he’s the only President who oversees corrupt elections. If the economy is the hottest thing on the planet, now’s the time to catch federal employees’ salaries up to the inflation rate the last 7 years. If it’s appropriate to freeze pay raises for federal employees then ALL Republicans need to acknowledge the President way lying about the US economy and that pay freezes are appropriate because he is overseeing a very bad economy.
