The war in Iran started without a rationale or plan, and there is no coherent endgame in sight. Trump is spending upwards $1 BILLION A DAY of our taxpayer money on his war on Iran, at a time when funding for schools, healthcare, and Veterans has been cut and Americans can't afford groceries and housing. As Eisenhower said, "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed." Do your job. Debate this war in Congress - in public. Americans deserve to hear the reasoning for the war hashed out and decide for ourselves if the cost in lives and money is worth it.
